What is the horrifying truth behind this calm Doctor’s face? Part 2 of the shocking tale.

Dr. Tushar Rohankar
Sounds more like a killer.
The first name sounds more like …. A DJ’s name.
And the surname…..ooooo…scray.
I came to know of this man through my infamous evil half – Jaysun Dalmeida thanks to Mark Zukerburg of Face Book.
The guy looked short, neardy and had a typical doctor look to him.
Nothing impressive actually.
But the only thing that impress me at first that formed the foundation about this guy was what I saw on Facebook about him – A photograph of him hugging his son in one of the most passionate and caring hugs I could ever describe.

Tushar with his son
Tushar with his son

I realized the guy – though dumb must be a nice chap.
So I got all ready and mentally prepared to meet this gentlemen the day I decided to check a nagging pain in my knee.
Driving down nearly 75kms to meet this guy, I was mentally prepared of how our meeting would go.
I would meet this shorty, impress him with my speaking skills and my knowledge of the human body and then take a few recommendations from him – after educating him on the wisdom that I possessed in the field of medicine.
I reached the hospital.
Waited.
And then this guy walked in.
And I was in for shock.
This ‘short’ guy turned out to be a 6 footer plus.
Really tall.

Loy & Dr. Tushar
Loy & Dr. Tushar

And then he not only made me look like a mouse, his intellect, his kindness and his brilliance as a doctor made me become a mouse in his care.
I mean the way he held my leg, twisted it gently only to hear some strange clicks I never thought existed and the manner in which he was able to press those specific spots on my body, I was zapped. Really zapped.
The confidence and calmness he conveyed as a doctor and the humility he had as a person threw me off guard.
The end result – I experienced world class service from a person I hardly knew.
So now the question arises, did I write this article just to kiss his ass because he gave me good service?
May be he would give me a free check up because I am buttering him up?
Or may be check my other knee for free?
Though I would love to hope for the free service and I know he would help me for free, this is not the reason I am writing this article about him.
It is because of the conversation we had on Monday, 26th December 2010.
I had gone to meet him with regards to having a complete blood test check up done – primarily because it was the year end and also because I was more conscious of the fact I was moving deeper into the 30’s zone as a middle aged guy.
And this was the blood test where I had to keep my body starving for the whole 14 hours.
After the check up, we decided to move towards a nice dinner as I was dead starving.
Not easy for a fat chubby guy like me to stay hungry.

As we hunted for a nice place for me to eat, he shared with me his philosophy and beliefs.
The sacrifices he had made to reach where he was today.
And yes, the shocking stories of the lives he had to save and in some cases, the really horrifying stories of choices he had to make.
What were they all about?
What were the sacrifices he made?
What shocking bits that prompted me to write this article?
Let that be a suspense.
I don’t want to disrespect the priceless portions of his life by publicizing to the world the sacredness of his sacrifice.
All I can state is this.
Tushar earned my respect.
The respect I would give any great human being.

From a seemingly short guy whom I anticipated to meet,
He not only turned out to be 6 feet plus tall.
In my eyes he became a giant.
A very very very tall giant.
So what makes this story shocking?
Simple.
In a world that we live filled with so many selfish senseless snakes,
It baffles me to know that there are human beings like these
Who not only live and breathe the doctors code
Of senseless selfless sacrifice
But take those unimaginable unbelievable unthinkable decisions
That shape their lives
And the lives of their patients
Who trust their bodies
Under the knives of these surgeons
In their sleep.
To me, it was an honor to meet such a man.
And yes, indeed a shock to know
That such people exist in our midst.
I would end by only stating this.

His name sounds more like a killer.
The first name sounds more like a DJ and the surname…..ooooo…scray.
But beyond the name, you will be amazed as the person you will experience.
Dr. Tushar Rohankar is without a doubt one among the finest doctors, one of the most humble human beings and one of the most genuine friends I have had the honor to meet.

What is the horrifying truth behind this calm Doctor’s face?

Dr. Tushar Rohankar
Dr. Tushar Rohankar

She jabbed the needle into my left eye.
At first I felt a slight sting.
Then numbness.
Then I felt only a bit of a pressure that very lightly pushed my face back
All I knew was that a needle was jabbed into my eye
And I was looking to the extreme right so that my cornea wouldn’t be harmed.
Then after that experiment was done with,
She took another needle
Told me in her smoothly old aged motherly voice
You will feel a bit of discomfort
Don’t worry
Just R-R-R-R-E-E-E-E-L-L-L-A-A-A-A-X-X-X-X
And she continued her ‘experiment’
The experiment was nothing but to apparently ‘scrape’ the ‘skin’ of my eye ball.
Seems it had got infected after I went to swim in a pool.
Believing in her and trusting her motherly voice and old age which to me represented experience
I continued sitting.
Little did I know what ordeal would follow me.
So how did all this come to pass?
Well, let me take you to the beginning.
I was with my that time ‘first-wife-to-be’ at a 5 Star resort – Ajman Kempenski Hotel where we had gone for a swim.
We were enjoying our so called swimming session with occasional horny moments of romantic expression and yeah, we were apparently having a great time.
Until as I was showing off my under-water diving skills, I felt something go inside my eye.
It was irritating.
And then what followed next was repeated irritation of my left eye ball as if something was stuck inside. And the worse part was the constant scratching effect it had on my eye ball – which made it red with tears.
After bearing with it for a whole day, I decided it was time to check it out.
So there came the first mistake.
I went to a cheap clinic that I tough would do the trick.
First mistake but yeah, a big one.
The second mistake was I accepted the doctors personality - a sweet mild mannered old lady, as sufficient qualifications to do the job.
And third - I didn’t take a second opinion.
So when she suggested to ‘scrape’ the skin of the eye ball to heal it as it was infected – well I….thought about it for a few seconds and then said ‘Go ahead’.
What followed after the so called ‘operation’ was a bandaged eye and a few pills with a hope to get healed.
The next day both my eyes got infected. I couldn’t see from both eyes.
And to add to it, the worse part was I was bleeding from my left eye – with both blood and tears.
That was enough to scare anyone.
Immediately I went to a hospital called ‘Zuleka’ Hospital in Sharjah.
(now please understand, I am not endorsing this hospital. This was my experience with the hospital 6 years ago. Today I do not know if their standards have improved or become worse)
I was ushered to a really old Romanian gentleman.
Really old.
He had a look at my eye, listened to my story and then again told me he had to give me an injection.
That was enough to scare me to death – but I had no option.
He told me it would subside my pain.
I took a risk.
Trusted him.
In seconds my pain stopped.
Apparently he gave me an anesthetic.
After briefly looking at my eyes, he suggested I use a couple of ointments and gave me a few pills.
I did what he told me.
Today, thanks to that Romanian doctor, I got my eyes back and yes they are healed – but for slight dryness that occurs frequently – which I have no idea if it because of that infamous operation by that old lady.
Oh before you judge that woman as bad, this may surprise you.
She did call me up a few days later to check on my eyes.
I told her what had happened thanks to her.
Do date I cannot figure out if she did it because she wanted an after sale customer or she genuinely cared.
I would bet on the latter.
But having said that I realized how important it is to have someone whom you know as qualified to operate on your body.
Trust me, I say this from experience.
So before you get blinded by your own assumptions, Remember this,
I nearly lost my eye sight…..
Don’t lose your light….
Now you may wonder what has all this got to do with Dr. Tushar (the guy whose photograph I have put up)….
Well you will be shocked once I tell you the truth….At least it gave me a chill on my spine.
Just remember this….His name is Dr. Tushar A. Rohankar from RAK Hospital.
And that is where I will come to part 2 of this horrifying story…

Is December 25th the scientifically proven date of Christ? - Interesting view point by my friend & scholar Jackie Storoszko

Santa's Facebook.
Santa's Facebook.

For centuries, Christian writers accepted that Christmas was the actual date on which Jesus was born. In the early 18th century, scholars began proposing alternative explanations. Isaac Newton argued that the date of Christmas was selected to correspond with the winter solstice, which the Romans called bruma and celebrated on December 25. In 1743, German Protestant Paul Ernst Jablonski argued Christmas was placed on December 25 to correspond with the Roman solar holiday Dies Natalis Solis Invicti and was therefore a "paganization" that debased the true church. This thesis, however, was found to be dubious as there is no evidence that the feast of Sol Invictus was affixed by Aurelian to December 25. The celebration of Sol Invictus feast on December 25 is not mentioned until the calendar of 354 and, subsequently, in 362 by Julian the Apostate in his Oration to King Helios. According to Judeo-Christian tradition, creation as described in the Genesis creation narrative occurred on the date of the spring equinox, i.e. March 25 on the Roman calendar. This date is now celebrated as Annunciation and as the anniversary of Incarnation. In 1889, Louis Duchesne suggested that the date of Christmas was calculated as nine months after Annunciation, the traditional date of the conception of Jesus.
The December 25 date may have been selected by the church in Rome in the early 4th century. At this time, a church calendar was created and other holidays were also placed on solar dates: "It is cosmic symbolism...which inspired the Church leadership in Rome to elect the winter solstice, December 25, as the birthday of Christ, and the summer solstice as that of John the Baptist, supplemented by the equinoxes as their respective dates of conception. While they were aware that pagans called this day the 'birthday' of Sol Invictus, this did not concern them and it did not play any role in their choice of date for Christmas," according to modern scholar S.E. Hijmans
Therefore taking all those facts into considration, it appears that no-one is quite sure of when Christ was or was not born. So you can celebrate for whichever reason suits you best. If you are religious, celebrate as the birth of Christ. If you are not a believer, celebrate as another cycle in the season of life. The term Christmas is commonly used not in a religious context but more these days in a commercial context as is Easter......just another excuse for the moneymen to make a killing at the expense of people who have more money than sense

A Holiday Message from Ricky Gervais: Why I’m An Atheist

Ricky Gervais - Why don’t you believe in God? I get that question all the time. I always try to give a sensitive, reasoned answer. This is usually awkward, time consuming and pointless. People who believe in God don’t need proof of his existence, and they certainly don’t want evidence to the contrary. They are happy with their belief. They even say things like “it’s true to me” and “it’s faith”. I still give my logical answer because I feel that not being honest would be patronizing and impolite. It is ironic therefore that “I don’t believe in God because there is absolutely no scientific evidence for his existence and from what I’ve heard the very definition is a logical impossibility in this known universe”, comes across as both patronizing and impolite.
Arrogance is another accusation. Which seems particularly unfair. Science seeks the truth. And it does not discriminate. For better or worse it finds things out. Science is humble. It knows what it knows and it knows what it doesn’t know. It bases its conclusions and beliefs on hard evidence -‐ evidence that is constantly updated and upgraded. It doesn’t get offended when new facts come along. It embraces the body of knowledge. It doesn’t hold on to medieval practices because they are tradition. If it did, you wouldn’t get a shot of penicillin, you’d pop a leach down your trousers and pray. Whatever you “believe”, this is not as effective as medicine. Again you can say, “It works for me”, but so do placebos. My point being, I’m saying God doesn’t exist. I’m not saying faith doesn’t exist. I know faith exists. I see it all the time. But believing in something doesn’t make it true. Hoping that something is true doesn’t make it true. The existence of God is not subjective. He either exists or he doesn’t. It’s not a matter of opinion. You can have your own opinions. But you can’t have your own facts.
Why don’t I believe in God? No, no no, why do YOU believe in God? Surely the burden of proof is on the believer. You started all this. If I came up to you and said, “Why don’t you believe I can fly?” You’d say, “Why would I?” I’d reply, “Because it’s a matter of faith”. If I then said, “Prove I can’t fly. Prove I can’t fly see, see, you can’t prove it can you?” You’d probably either walk away, call security or throw me out of the window and shout, ‘’F—ing fly then you lunatic.”
This, is of course a spirituality issue, religion is a different matter. As an atheist, I see nothing “wrong” in believing in a god. I don’t think there is a god, but belief in him does no harm. If it helps you in any way, then that’s fine with me. It’s when belief starts infringing on other people’s rights when it worries me. I would never deny your right to believe in a god. I would just rather you didn’t kill people who believe in a different god, say. Or stone someone to death because your rulebook says their sexuality is immoral. It’s strange that anyone who believes that an all-‐powerful all knowing, omniscient power responsible for everything that happens, would also want to judge and punish people for what they are. From what I can gather, pretty much the worst type of person you can be is an atheist. The first four commandments hammer this point home. There is a god”, I’m him, no one else is, you’re not as good and don’t forget it. (Don’t murder anyone, doesn’t get a mention till number 6.)
When confronted with anyone who holds my lack of religious faith in such contempt, I say, “It’s the way God made me.”
But what are atheists really being accused of?
The dictionary definition of God is “a supernatural creator and overseer of the universe”. Included in this definition are all deities, goddesses and supernatural beings. Since the beginning of recorded history, which is defined by the invention of writing by the Sumerians around 6000 years ago, historians have cataloged over 3700 supernatural beings, of which 2870 can be considered deities.
So next time someone tells me they believe in God, I’ll say “Oh which one? Zeus? Hades? Jupiter? Mars? Odin? Thor? Krishna? Vishnu? Ra?…” If they say “Just God. I only believe in the one God”, I’ll point out that they are nearly as atheistic as me. I don’t believe in 2,870 gods, and they don’t believe in 2,869.
I used to believe in God. The Christian one that is.
I loved Jesus. He was my hero. More than pop stars. More than footballers. More than God. God was by definition omnipotent and perfect. Jesus was a man. He had to work at it. He had temptation but defeated sin. He had integrity and courage. But He was my hero because He was kind. And He was kind to everyone. He didn’t bow to peer pressure or tyranny or cruelty. He didn’t care who you were. He loved you. What a guy. I wanted to be just like Him.
One day when I was about 8 years old, I was drawing the crucifixion as part of my Bible-‐studies homework. I loved art too. And nature. I loved how God made all the animals. They were also perfect. Unconditionally beautiful. It was an amazing world.
I lived in a very poor, working-‐class estate in an urban sprawl called Reading, about 40 miles west of London. My father was a laborer and my mother was a housewife. I was never ashamed of poverty. It was almost noble. Also, everyone I knew was in the same situation, and I had everything I needed. School was free. My clothes were cheap and always clean and ironed. And mum was always cooking. She was cooking the day I was drawing on the cross.
I was sitting at the kitchen table when my brother came home. He was 11 years older than me, so he would have been 19. He was as smart as anyone I knew, but he was too cheeky. He would answer back and get into trouble. I was a good boy. I went to church and believed in God – what a relief for a working-‐class mother. You see, growing up where I did, mums didn’t hope as high as their kids growing up to be doctors; they just hoped their kids didn’t go to jail. So bring them up believing in God and they’ll be good and law abiding. It’s a perfect system. Well, nearly. 75 percent of Americans are God-‐fearing Christians; 75 percent of prisoners are God-‐fearing Christians. 10 percent of Americans are atheists; 0.2 percent of prisoners are atheists.
But anyway, there I was happily drawing my hero when my big brother Bob asked, “Why do you believe in God?” Just a simple question. But my mum panicked. “Bob” she said in a tone that I knew meant, “Shut up.” Why was that a bad thing to ask? If there was a God and my faith was strong it didn’t matter what people said.
Oh … hang on. There is no God. He knows it, and she knows it deep down. It was as simple as that. I started thinking about it and asking more questions, and within an hour, I was an atheist.
Wow. No God. If mum had lied to me about God, had she also lied to me about Santa? Yes, of course, but who cares? The gifts kept coming. And so did the gifts of my new found atheism. The gifts of truth, science, nature. The real beauty of this world. I learned of evolution – a theory so simple that only England’s greatest genius could have come up with it. Evolution of plants, animals and us – with imagination, free will, love, humor. I no longer needed a reason for my existence, just a reason to live. And imagination, free will, love, humor, fun, music, sports, beer and pizza are all good enough reasons for living.
But living an honest life – for that you need the truth. That’s the other thing I learned that day, that the truth, however shocking or uncomfortable, in the end leads to liberation and dignity.
So what does the question “Why don’t you believe in God?” really mean. I think when someone asks that; they are really questioning their own belief. In a way they are asking “what makes you so special? “How come you weren’t brainwashed with the rest of us?” “How dare you say I’m a fool and I’m not going to heaven, f— you!” Let’s be honest, if one person believed in God he would be considered pretty strange. But because it’s a very popular view it’s accepted. And why is it such a popular view? That’s obvious. It’s an attractive proposition. Believe in me and live forever. Again if it was just a case of spirituality this would be fine. “Do unto others…” is a good rule of thumb. I live by that. Forgiveness is probably the greatest virtue there is. Buts that’s exactly what it is -‐ a virtue. Not just a Christian virtue. No one owns being good. I’m good. I just don’t believe I’ll be rewarded for it in heaven. My reward is here and now. It’s knowing that I try to do the right thing. That I lived a good life. And that’s where spirituality really lost its way. When it became a stick to beat people with. “Do this or you’ll burn in hell.”
You won’t burn in hell. But be nice anyway.

The power of SEX & communication in the real world.

The power of SEX & the power of communication in the real world.

Loy's Back
Loy's Back

Sex sells.
In fact the most number of upcoming websites in the world are related to what?
Sex.
The most searched word online is what?
Sex.
The maximum number of crimes in the world are related to what?
Sex.
To go one step further, the most profitable business in the world is also related to what?
Sex.
Forget all that.
And for the next few minutes, just keep an open mind and see where you can find something that I have written wrong so that you can crucify me.
Seriously.
So coming back to sex – It is a powerful word.
Yes, it is.
And don’t worry, stating this does not make you a bad person.
I mean you don’t have to think ‘dirty’ thoughts about it.
I am not asking you to. And I never even said anything bad or vulgar.
I am just stating a ‘word’ and I have just stated a few ‘facts’.
And if you look at sex as a natural gift from God who made it part of procreation, well I am sure you will feel better about it.
Don’t you now?
Now look closely..
Fortunately or unfortunately, this is one of the major taboo topics in Toastmasters.
Sad.
Really sad.
Not only sex.
But also some of our favorite topics.
Sex, religion and politics.
Why?
Because we want to be a ‘good’ organization.
A nice organization.
An organization that does not hurt anyone’s feelings.
Which is admirable.
And I believe it is the right thing.
But then I ask you, Is this how the real world works?
Is it viable to do whatever you do in Toastmasters to do in real life?
Let me give you a few examples to state my case.
Case Number 1
You have most of the ‘winning’ speeches of our Toastmasters related to death, dying, emotional hogwash, over-acting, fake sadness and absolutely stupid immature despicable nonsense – which all of us know in real life you cannot possibly do it in front of any mature audience. Forget a mature audience, you cannot even deliver such a speech to a ordinary crowd of children. But hell yeah! It works in Toastmasters!
Case Number 2
You have so many ‘senior’ Toastmasters with the super big shiny DTM badge being flashed in front of everyone (DTM by the way is the highest qualification you can get in Toastmasters). Ask them to deliver a decent speech. And what do you get? Sounds like someone flushed a low life down the toilet.
Case Number 3
Most of our so called leaders – Area Governors, Division Governors and District Governors – Are they truly competent ‘leaders’? or are we fooling ourselves?
Now I may look like a fox who is shouting ‘sour grapes’ but we need to face reality.
T.S. Eliot said it so beautifully ‘Human kind cannot bear very much reality’ and may be that is why you will not be able to bear what I say. But my friend this is the truth.
So we have to admit certain facts.
Fact Number 1
Toastmasters is a non-profit organization and it is also a non hardcore ‘professional’ organization.
Now before you jump the gun and decide to forward this article to the far reaches of Toastmasters and complain about me and get me banned from Toastmasters (which I am sure you would love to do that), let me explain myself.
We join Toastmasters to learn and grow.
Most of us are novices at speaking.
And yes, though there are a few of us who are somewhat successful as leaders, we like to exercise our leadership skills to a new higher level. And that is why we also join Toastmasters.
But then my question is this.
Looking at most of the speakers in your club – can you say without a doubt, that they will be people willing to pay money to listen to our Toastmasters speak?
And if yes, how much would they pay to listen to them speak?
USD 1,000?
Too much?
USD 500?
Still too much?
USD 100?
Not even that much?
(Answer – Most of us would pay the our breed of Toastmasters to shut up)
And as a leader, how many of you would like to have one of the excom members as say – your boss or CEO of your company?
No one?
Now as a defensive answer, I am sure you will say the following:
1) I have not joined Toastmasters to become a paid speaker or a professional speaker
2) I am in Toastmasters to learn and enjoy – not take it so seriously
3) Toastmasters is not my life but a part of my life.
I have heard them before and I am sure you have too.
And that is exactly why I am telling you this – Toastmasters is different from the real world. And if you have to survive in the real world, there are a few things you must do differently.
In Toastmasters we have a system that is kind, compassionate and encouraging. Some times it border lines to being like a mother taking care of her new born baby.So much so, it sometimes proves to be a breeding ground for weeds and viruses for lazy people that spread the disease of mediocrity to everyone else.
Don’t get me wrong, Toastmasters is an amazing system. It is a platform I love and a process I am very proud to be part of.
But it is different when you have many kinds of ‘people’ in it.
So let us move ahead considering two aspects and having a close of this long essay.
What is communication in the real world outside toastmasters
And
What is leadership in the real world outside toastmasters.
And do know this – these are my views. Period. They do not reflect the views of anyone else – especially toastmasters.
Communication in the real world.
In the real world, you cannot afford to have all this drama, this nonsense and this petty talk. In fact most of our speakers and their speeches would be canned and thrown outside in a rotting dustbin in a galaxy far far away in the reach of planet Naboo where Luke Skywalker was born. (If you didn’t understand this bit, you are not a Star Wars fan)
You need to follow the strategy that I believe will make you successful in the real world.
Lets call it the
Loy Machedo’s 6.6 points of wisdom for communication in the real world (I know long boring heading by hey, this is my article! So go take a hike if you don’t like it!!!)-
1) Get to the point. The fast the better
2) Say what has to be said but keeping in the mind the person who is listening gets the benefit
3) Ensure if you take 5 minutes of that persons time, the value he received was the benefit of a 50 minute speech
4) Be sure that what you speak he would find it very difficult to research, edit and present by himself.
5) Be so good that your listener would be ready to pay you to listen to you
6) Bring in something that has the Machedo’s 6 H
1. Head – Logic,
2. Heart – Emotion,
3. Heavy – Worthwhile message,
4. Humor – Stuff to make you smile at least,
5. Hands & Feet – Involves your whole body
6. Holy Spirit – Your inner being & attitude
Having put it, let’s move on to the next bit
Loy Machedo’s 5.2 points of wisdom for leadership in the real world (I know long boring heading and read the above bold line if you have any problems in life)-
1) If you are a leader, get ready to sacrifice yes, but at the same time get ready to fire someone’s rear end if they don’t perform (You know exactly why I used the word ‘rear end’)
2) Diplomacy is the key but ensure you are not scared to speak your mind and heart out. Most of the so called leaders are too soft and too diplomatic that is breeds sickness
3) Set big goals and achieve bigger goals – not vice versa.
4) You don’t have to be all ‘goody-goody’ to achieve great results.
5) For God’s sake, break away from the norm and think outside the box
a. Ensure you either have donkey’s who does whatever you want – then you have to be a great leader
b. If you have guys smarter than you, don’t be scared to let them give their ideas and implement them.
This my friend is what I believe is the stuff in the real world.
But then again, I could be wrong.
But then again, I could be right.
When standing with a group of guys, holding a few glasses of alcohol and talking, I don’t think I would show them body language or display vocal variety and even worse, give them a false white wash evaluation.
Just remember this in a nutshell.
The real world is slightly different from the world of Toastmasters.
Toastmasters is a beautiful and amazing environment where you can learn and grow. But here again, there is a limit.
If you want to succeed in communication and leadership in the real world, you need to get out of your comfort zone – something toastmasters offers in plenty.
And most important of all, one needs to remove the blinders that cover their eyes, the brains and their common sense and think outside the box.
The real world is a very tough, cut-throat and challenging environment where if you want to be the best, you have to be the best.
True, some of you can take another view and view the world through the lens of love and compassion and believe in the virtues of goodness and kindness. No issue.
Your views.
Your opinion.
I am no one to contradict it.
But just remember this.
I don’t care what you think.
And most probably you don’t care what I think.
What matters in the end, is what you do in the real world.
So the next time you see the word ‘sex’, just remember this.
It is indeed a powerful word.
Why?
I managed to get you to read all this because I used it in the beginning.
That my friend, is the power of sex.
Loy,

When is it okay to kill your mother?

When is it okay to kill your mother?

There is a famous saying by the biblical character named Jesus Christ
‘Love your enemies’.
‘Forgive those who hate you’,
‘Do good to those who persecute you’
Blah blah blah blah and more blah blah
And so on and so forth.

Now personally speaking,
though I a self baptized atheist,
I find these words very powerful.
Very appealing
And very suprising.
They are the stuff legends are made up of.

In a world filled with hate, wars, crimes and problems,
these words of wisdom can surely bring peace and sanity.

But now comes the question of practicality and realism.

Is this Gandhian lifestyle possible?

Or rather is the better question if you want to adopt an attitude like this
where you rear end gets kicked from this end of the spectrum
to the far reaches of the galaxies
before the USS Enterprise ship NCC-1701 gets kicked into warp speed
assuming your arse was a meteorite coming to destroy them?

Personally speaking, being brought up with the label ‘catholic’
I had my share of experiences which really made me think.

Now for the reader to understand
Catholic over here means –
A religious identity which is advertised as
a matter of ‘American’ lifestyle and pride
where the members belong to the elite class of believers
who would go to heaven simply by virtue of going to Church once a week
(and in some cases never)
and verbally vomiting the verbose veneration to the high improbable case of a self pregnant-making woman –
which is the only specie apart from worms who seem to do the same thing.

Now added to that you have the ‘religious’ life style which includes the following:
1)      Drinking alcohol in plenty because Mr. Christ drank wine
2)      Smoking – well the bible doesn’t say smoking is bad (check the 10 commandments)
3)      Shagging members of the opposite sex from a young age
4)      Allowing your kids to live a loose-character life because you try to live a ‘western’ lifestyle
5)      Believing the ‘Americanish’ concept of Santa Clause
6)      Assuming there is ‘snow’ falling everywhere
7)      Commercializing festivities which include having a ‘Christ-mas tree’ – Wonder when Jesus had that?
8)      Having excess of food, parties and fun to commemorate the coming of the ‘Christ’ – may be he also must be dancing in a discotech in heaven somewhere.
9)      Hearing American singers fart out ‘Christian’ songs which may include anyone from the good old Boney M to Boys zone – who are pious Christians.
10)  And finally, going over-dress to the mid-night mass, trying to look all jazzy, withtoo much make up, too much perfume and too much show off only to come back home and enjoy a jam packed party session with gifts and fun

And if in case you are a ‘hardcore junkie’ believer, you can see the following traits:
1)      Walking around with the Bible everywhere you go
2)      Quoting Bibilical versus every second
3)      Saying ‘Praise the Lord’ instead  of a decent sensible greeting
4)      Calling every male ‘Brother’
5)      Calling every female ‘ Sister’
6)      Not even masturbating without feeling guilty
7)      Assuming that you are getting blessed with the ‘Holy Spirit’ when you sudden meet a bunch of like minded fools who blabber stuff just like you
8)      Foolishly presuming that when you start wriggling your tongue and screaming some nonsensical blabber, you are speaking in tougues or different languages
9)      Having the make belief concept that you are going to be ‘saved’ and your mission is to save the ‘lost sheep’
10)  Over praying too much at all times
11)  Assuming your life’s mission is to ‘pray’ and ‘touch’ other peoples lives by marketing the non-existent concept of Mr. Christ.
12)  And organizing ‘youth’ groups where the young are ‘brain-washed’ into believing they are being touched by their ‘Lord’ and ‘Saviour’ – where the way they dress to the way they act is so bloody obnoxious.
13)  And this is the best one – Having ‘Rap’ and ‘Rock’ groups dedicated to ‘Christ’

So these are our Christian ‘brothers and sisters’

Peaceful folks but utterly misguided human beings.

It is like how my friend put it - It is okay to believe in ‘Forgive and forget’ if you are a faggot like these f**kers’

But they are nice ‘f**kers’ who would not bomb you, blast you or beat you if you speak against them.

Nice guys to be honest.

So how far does this philosophy of forgive and forget work well?

Personally, I don’t think very far.

Today you have families that check your weight in terms of your ‘earning’ capacity.

If you earn well, you are in their good books.
If you have a successful position, they give you respect.
If you have a thriving business, they will love you to death.

In fact most of the prayers are centered around the concept of ‘I need er…this’

So why this drama?

I mean where does God come in?
Where does ‘family’ come in?
Where does ‘goodness’ come in?

Aren’t we all fooling ourselves?

You don’t live the life of Christ – then why classify yourself as a ‘Christian’?
You don’t love your family members ‘selflessly’, then why have the drama of wanting to be as a ‘family’?
You are not a genuine person, then why expect genuineness from others?

I think we need to be honest, realistic and practical.

Mr. Jesus Christ can put all his theories into place.
But what happened to him in the end?
He got his ass kicked left right and center, raped, ripped and regurgitated by everyone
And in the end ‘crucified’
That is exactly the same what will happen to you
If you follow his ‘theory’
And chances are your ‘resurrection’ – well that would be most improbable
If you want, give it a shot.
I don’t think you will resurrect.

So that is where we need to stop fooling ourselves and ask difficult questions – Questions we are scared to ask and the answers we don’t have courage to face.

All these religious associations we have
The beliefs we share
And the double standard lives we live
Make no sense to ourselves
As well as to the people around us.

We are all faking it.

And as long as we don’t ask hard hitting questions
That shake up our very existence
and put us in a uncomfortable position
We are okay with the lives we live

But everything will have a price to pay.

Everything does.

Forgive and forget is good
As long as we ‘assume’ that it serves a greater good.

In my case, I choose not to forget.
And if I have not forgotten
I have never forgiven.

I may not hurt the person
But I will never forget the incident.
And I will use it to
remind me
drive me
and motivate me
to reach my objective and my goal in life.

Today
Mother
Father
Brother
Sister
God
All these relationships are empty words and identities that have no value.
It all comes down to the benefit you can provide others.

(if you notice I haven’t even mentioned ‘friends’ anywhere)

In my books and my life
I don’t know the exact day when I baptized myself as an atheist.
But I do know one important date.
Wednesday, 15th December 2010
Is the day I declared myself
Not just an atheist
But an orphan.
In my books
My mother
My father
My brother
My sister
Are all dead
They don’t exist.

I have come into this world by some ‘miraculous’ happening
(or for that matter a sperm that got out of a penis by tearing through a condom because of mismanaged sex)
And I will go to a place where the poor worms are waiting for their annual quota of rotting mass.

I will use every episode in my life to fuel the fire of vengeance and drive my body towards my purposeful goal – a dream. A dream to help whomsoever I can without anything in return.

But what I do, say and think with my personal life.
Is no one’s business.

So when it is okay to kill your mother?

The day the bitch forgets that you are her son and sells you for a profit.

I’ve killed not only my mother but my whole family.

Why?

They killed me before that.

Now all that remains is a dead body that refuses to die.

Amen.
